Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Sidewalk, an agentic AI chat product operated by Lexi Global Sdn Bhd. By creating an account or using sidewalk.com.my, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Sidewalk provides AI-powered chat agents that respond to messages on your behalf, primarily on WhatsApp. The exact features and limits depend on your selected plan (Crawl, Walk, Run, or Custom).
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@sidewalk.com.my if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Sidewalk to send spam, phishing, harassing, or otherwise unlawful messages, or to violate the terms of any messaging platform we integrate with (including WhatsApp Business). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on the cycle you select (yearly or monthly).
- One-time setup fees are non-refundable.
- You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Yearly subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law.
- We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Sidewalk (training material, chat history, store data). You grant us a limited licence to process that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you.
6. AI-generated responses
Sidewalk uses AI to generate replies. AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and controlling what your agents say to your customers, and for the accuracy of any commitments your agents make on your behalf.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (WhatsApp, AI model providers, Stripe, our hosting provider) or by force majeure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, the data-retention rules in our Privacy Policy apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders at least 30 days in advance.
