Privacy Policy
Lexi Global Sdn Bhd ("Sidewalk", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use sidewalk.com.my and our products, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Account information. Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Store and chat data. Content you upload to train your AI agents, conversation transcripts processed by your agents, and configuration you choose.
- Payment information. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Cookies. Session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this website at this time.
How we use your information
- To operate the Sidewalk service (authentication, agent training, message processing).
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To send transactional email about your account (billing, security alerts, service notices).
- To send product updates and marketing email. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such message.
How we share your information
We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers we need to operate Sidewalk — primarily Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (in Malaysia), and email-delivery providers for transactional and marketing email. Each is bound by their own data-protection terms.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we retain account data for up to 90 days to allow recovery and to satisfy our legal obligations, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems. Backups containing residual data are rotated within an additional 30 days.
Your rights
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. Email hello@sidewalk.com.my with the subject "Data request" and we will respond within 21 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders.
